Andrew Sankey, garden designer and lecturer, will be talking about the life and times of Joseph Banks. Banks was an extraordinary man who sailed around the world with Cook, started Kew Botanic Gardens, had trained plant hunters sent around the globe and made botany a subject worth studying.
No admission charge, all welcome. Refreshments from 5pm.
